Access Services | Assistive Technology
The University Library is committed to providing equal access to services and collections for all Library patrons. Library staff will assist patrons in obtaining access to the services and collections if they have difficulty helping themselves.
The Library Assistive Technology Services are devoted exclusively to students with assistive technology needs. They are located in L264 of the Main Library, and also in the Library Access Center at the Stockton Campus. Access is by appointment or drop-in, and sign-up sheets are available at the Circulation Desk. The computer workstations include Internet access and the Microsoft Office suite, in addition to the following special applications:
Kurzweil
1000 Scanner
ClearView Optelec Reader, a CCTV that enlarges printed text onto a television screen.
Jaws Screen Reader, a screen reader program.
Dragon
Naturally Speaking
MAGic Screen Reader and Magnifier
